今回で3回目の開催。現存国宝5天守の一つで、五重六階の天守の中で最古の松本城天守や石垣に、松本市立博物館所蔵の錦絵や絢爛豪華な屏風絵、松本てまりや提灯などの伝統工芸、春に咲き誇る桜や北アルプスの花々をモチーフにした映像を投影しました。

Held for the third time. Matsumoto Castle Keep, one of Japan's five surviving National Treasure castle keeps and the oldest among the five-story, six-floor keeps still standing, along with its stone walls, was illuminated with images inspired by ukiyo-e prints and lavish folding screen paintings from the collection of the Matsumoto City Museum, traditional crafts such as Matsumoto temari and lanterns, and spring cherry blossoms and flowers of the Northern Alps.
