浅草寺は628年に創建された都内最古の寺院で、国内外から年間約3000万人もの人々が訪れる日本を代表する観光地です。境内には、1958年に再建された本堂・宝蔵門、高さ約53メートルの五重塔、江戸時代初期の1649年に建立された重要文化財・二天門などの歴史的な建築物が並びます。これら宝蔵門・五重塔・二天門に投影された、朝顔の花をモチーフにしたカットの制作を担当しました。

Sensoji Temple, founded in 628, is the oldest temple in Tokyo and one of Japan's leading tourist destinations, drawing around 30 million visitors from Japan and abroad each year. Its grounds feature historic structures including the Main Hall and Hozomon Gate, rebuilt in 1958, the five-story pagoda standing approximately 53 meters tall, and the Nitenmon Gate, an Important Cultural Property built in 1649 during the early Edo period. I produced the cuts depicting morning glory flowers, projected onto the Hozomon Gate, the five-story pagoda, and the Nitenmon Gate.
