2006年に「日本100名城」に選定された鶴ヶ城。戊辰戦争では一か月に及ぶ猛攻に耐え抜いた「難攻不落の名城」として知られています。
天守閣再建60周年を記念し、会津の伝統文化や、会津で活躍した絵師・雪村周継の絵画、夏の花々や秋の紅葉、流線形のトレイル演出などをモチーフにした映像を天守と石垣へ投影しました。

Tsuruga Castle was designated one of Japan's "100 Fine Castles" in 2006. Known as an "impregnable fortress," it withstood a month-long siege during the Boshin War.
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the castle keep's reconstruction, images inspired by Aizu's traditional culture, paintings by the Aizu-based artist Sesson Shukei, summer flowers, autumn foliage, and streamlined trails of light were projected onto the castle keep and stone walls.
