郵船クルーズ株式会社が運航する日本最高峰のラグジュアリークルーズ客船「飛鳥Ⅲ」。横浜を母港とする総トン数52,265GTの、日本船籍として最大の客船です。船内エンターテインメント空間「リュミエールシアター」には、ホログラフィックスクリーンや大型LEDスクリーンを備えています。
演目「KAGUYA −かぐや−」は、現存する日本最古の物語とされる「竹取物語」をオマージュしたオリジナル作品です。月や竹林、天の川、屏風絵の世界など日本ならではの美しさを、映像とダンサーによる舞踊で表現しています。このうち、ポスター・メインビジュアル用の竹林や、天の川、ダンサーの舞踊に連動する映像の制作を担当しました。

"Asuka III," operated by NYK Cruises, is Japan's premier luxury cruise ship. With its home port in Yokohama, it is the largest ship under the Japanese flag, with a gross tonnage of 52,265 GT. Its onboard entertainment space, the "Lumière Theater," is equipped with a holographic screen and a large LED screen.
The performance "KAGUYA" is an original work paying homage to "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter," regarded as the oldest surviving story in Japan. It expresses the distinctly Japanese beauty of the moon, bamboo groves, the Milky Way, and the world of folding screen paintings through visuals and dance performance. I was responsible for producing the bamboo grove imagery used in the poster and main visual, as well as the Milky Way visuals and the imagery synchronized with the dancers' movements.
