現存国宝5天守の一つであり、五重六階の天守の中で最古の歴史を持つ松本城天守。
2回目の開催となる本イベントは、伝統工芸や歴史的モチーフを取り入れ、「光と氷の城下町フェスティバル 松本市イルミネーション2024-2025」の中核として開催され、過去最多となる172,905人が来場しました。
会期中は以下のテーマで演出を実施しました。

Matsumoto Castle Keep is one of Japan's five surviving National Treasure castle keeps, and the oldest among the five-story, six-floor keeps still standing.
Held for the second time, this event incorporated traditional crafts and historical motifs, serving as the centerpiece of the "Light and Ice Castle Town Festival: Matsumoto City Illumination 2024-2025." It drew a record-high 172,905 visitors.
