観光庁主催・農林水産省共催国連総会サイドイベント・訪日観光レセプション「DISCOVER Japan's NEW TREASURES」
Opening Show of the "DISCOVER Japan's NEW TREASURES" UN General Assembly Side Event and Japan-Bound Tourism Reception
ニューヨーク市にて開催された、観光庁主催・農林水産省共催による国連総会サイドイベント・訪日観光レセプション。米国からの訪日観光誘致や消費拡大、日米双方向の観光交流の推進を目的に実施しました。オープニングショーでは、ホログラムスクリーンに日本舞踊と連動した桜の映像を投影しました。
レセプションでは、斉藤鉄夫国土交通大臣による挨拶、岸田文雄総理大臣のビデオメッセージ上映、特別ゲストとして元メジャーリーガーの松井秀喜氏も登壇。日米の観光事業者、メディア、政財界関係者ら約200名が参加した国際的なプロモーションイベントとなりました。

A UN General Assembly side event and Japan-bound tourism reception hosted by the Japan Tourism Agency and co-hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, held in New York City. It was organized to promote inbound tourism to Japan from the United States, boost consumer spending, and foster two-way tourism exchange between Japan and the US. In the opening show, cherry blossom imagery synchronized with a traditional Japanese dance performance was projected onto a hologram screen.
At the reception, Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Tetsuo Saito gave remarks, a video message from Prime Minister Fumio Kishida was screened, and former MLB player Hideki Matsui appeared as a special guest. The event brought together around 200 participants from the tourism industry, media, and government and business circles in both Japan and the US, serving as an international promotional platform.
